Eat Momo is a Nepalese restaurant group in London, founded by two sisters, with sites in Leyton and Borough Yards. Their food is honest, comforting and rooted in culture. In their own words, it's "cafe with culture, easy food with care".
I was commissioned to work within their existing brand identity and build on it. My role is to give the brand more personality and range across social media, print and delivery, so every touchpoint feels as warm and welcoming as the food.
I introduced a simple, single-line illustration style that gives the brand a friendly, hand-made voice. I created the "good question" social media post series that bust common myths about Nepali food, such as "No, momo is not gyoza", in a way that's fun, informative and easy to share. I paired food photography with illustrated details to let the brand show both the food and the story behind it: appetite and culture together. I brought the brand to life with short animations and GIFs. These small moments of movement make the brand feel lively and approachable, and help it stand out in busy social feeds.
